Introduction
High-temperature service conditions can progressively reduce structural reliability through creep damage and microstructural degradation.
TQIS performs remaining life assessments of pressure equipment operating under elevated temperature and stress conditions.
Evaluations are conducted in accordance with recognized Fitness-for-Service methodologies.
Scope may include:
- Review of operating temperature and stress history
- Creep damage assessment based on API 579-1 / ASME FFS-1
- Metallographic replication and microstructural evaluation
- Assessment of oxidation, carburization or material degradation
- Remaining life estimation and rerating feasibility
- Technical evaluation of repair or replacement strategies
Objective:
Determine remaining service life and define safe operating limits based on engineering evidence.
